Privacy Policy
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising trackers. That is not a marketing claim — it is a description of the code, and this page explains the few places where data does change hands.
Last updated 30 July 2026
1. Who we are
CIMMERONX Grinder Works Co., Ltd. ("CIMMERONX", "we", "us") manufactures electric coffee grinders. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, write to cimmeronx@cimmeronx.com.
2. What this site does not do
Stated first because it is the most useful part of the policy:
- No cookies. The site sets none, of any kind — not analytics, not preference, not session. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no pixel of any kind. We do not know how many people visited this page.
- No advertising or profiling. We do not run ads, retarget visitors, build profiles or take part in real-time bidding.
- No browser storage. Nothing is written to
localStorage, sessionStorageor IndexedDB. - No account, no login, no newsletter. There is nothing to sign up for.
3. The one third party that sees your IP address
The page loads two typefaces, Space Grotesk and Inter, from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To serve a font file, Google necessarily receives your IP address, your user-agent string and the address of the page requesting it. We receive none of that, and we have no agreement with Google about it beyond their standard terms.
If that transfer matters to you, a browser extension that blocks third-party font requests will not break this site — it is built with system-font fallbacks specifically so it still reads correctly without them.
4. Hosting and server logs
The site is static files served from Cloudflare's edge network. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to deliver a page — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, response status — and retains it briefly for security, abuse prevention and traffic management. We do not add our own logging, we do not export those logs, and we do not use them to identify individuals. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this purpose.
5. The enquiry form
The form on our Contact page does not post to a server. It checks your entries in your browser and then opens your own email program with the message ready to send, so nothing reaches us until you send it yourself — and if you close the draft instead, we never see it at all.
When you do send it, we receive whatever you filled in — typically your name, company, email address, country, the product family you are interested in, a quantity and your requirement — and it arrives in our ordinary business mailbox.
If we later connect the form to a submission service, this section will be updated to name that provider before the change goes live.
6. What we do with enquiry data
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and manage the resulting commercial relationship. Nothing else.
- Legal basis (where a data protection law of that kind applies): performance of, or steps toward, a contract; and our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence.
- Recipients: our own sales and engineering staff, and our email provider as processor. We do not sell, rent, share or trade personal data with anyone, and we do not send marketing to addresses that reached us through an enquiry.
- Retention: enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted within 24 months. Where an order follows, records are kept for as long as the applicable commercial and tax law requires.
7. International transfers
Writing to us may involve your message crossing a border, and Cloudflare serves this site from whichever edge location is nearest you. Where a transfer of personal data requires a safeguard under your local law, we rely on recognised standard contractual clauses with the processors involved.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to cimmeronx@cimmeronx.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and we do not require a particular form of words.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to the data protection authority that supervises your own jurisdiction.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only and sends a Content-Security-Policy that restricts scripts to our own origin, together with X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options and a strict Referrer-Policy. Because the site holds no database and accepts no uploads, there is no store of visitor data here to breach. Email correspondence is protected by the ordinary security controls of our mail provider.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business site for industrial buyers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — a new processor, a form that actually posts somewhere, any analytics at all — will be described in the relevant section rather than absorbed into vague wording.
